Dengan terpaksa ia berpisah dengan Sutemaru nii-chan dkk. Kehidupan menjadi putri justru lebih membosankan bagi Hime, ia tidak suka pelajaran ttg sopan santun, ataupun berdandan layaknya putri raja. Walau begitu Hime tetap dapat menunjukkan "kualitas"nya sebagai putri terhormat, walau sebenarnya dia lebih suka bermain. Kabar ttg kecantikan Hime ini mengundang minat para pejabat2 istana, mereka berlomba2 mendapatkan Kaguya-hime layaknya sebuah barang. Merasa risih dengan tawaran2 pernikahan itu, Kaguya memerintahkan mereka untuk mendapatka barang2 langka yang mereka gunakan sebagai analogi untuk menggambarkan kecantikan dan keanggunan Hime. Dan tidak ada yg berhasil (sebetulnya ada yang hampir berhasil, tapi mati. LOL) Mendengar berita ditolaknya para menteri2 ini, sang Pangeran sendiri tertarik pada Kaguya dan mencoba melamarnya langsung. Dengan tidak sopannya ia memasuki kamar Hime dan memeluknya. Spontan Hime menolak dan kabur. Pangeran merasa bersalah dan mengatakan "aku akan menantimu, aku yakin kebahagiaanmu hanya terletak di sisiku: " Kaguya yg merasa risih dan terancam oleh "serangan" sang pangeran yg tiba-tiba itu tanpa sadar meminta pertolongan dari bulan untuk membawanya kabur. Komentar saya, sebenernya movie ini bagus banget, cuma ada beberapa hal yang disayangkan: - Romance nya nggak dapat, dikiiiit banget, padahal di awal2 feel kalau ada flag diantara Sutemaru nii-chan dan Hime itu udah kuat banget. Saya berharap ada sedikit variasi cerita dimana Sutemaru berusaha menyelamatkan Hime tapi gagal. Sayang nya tidak ada. - Sudden turn of event. Terutama ketika habis di peluk pangeran itu. Tiba2 Kaguya menghilang seperti hantu dan kemudian ia menangis di hadapan ayah bundanya, sambil berkata "I don't want go back to the moon". Saya cuma melongo karena tiba2 plot nya jadi serius begini. dan tiba2 pula. plus dari movie ini: - great art, great coloring, great animation. saya suka banget di menit ke 50 ketika Kaguya lari dari kastil (yg ntah sepertinya cuma mimpi), kemudian waktu ketika ia pertama kali datang ke istana, dan terakhir ketika ia terbang bareng Sutemaru nii-chan - great music. Overall music nya bagus banget, cocok sama tema dan animasinya. - pesan moral yang bagus. "Harta, kekayaan, posisi, bukanlah segalanya" Overall skor 8/10. Cocok buat ditonton buat segala umur. This movie had me captivated all throughout and i couldn't stop crying towards the end. it's a masterpiece. I enjoyed the movie a lot up until the third act. The third act was disappointing. The pacing was awkward and I felt this should have been an anime series instead of a movie or a part 1 of 2 or 3 (and have a different third act entirely. We need more animation like this.
