I listened to this records so much around 1992. The eighties died with him. He represents that time specific heroic (in lack of other words) way of singing that everybody back then seemed to mimic. Almost any new wave or dark wave singer did it before let´s say the earliest form of grunge came out in the shape of The offspring. Suddenly it was the shit to make daring moves on snowboards leading to Jackass and Nirvana and being trashy by then made any old Punk rocker look silly. But in INX time something heroic was something more archaic. Andrew Eldritch was ofcourse the icon number one. Just a reflection...

Live Baby Live: Wembley Stadium captures the memorable performance and features the hits ‘Need You Tonight‘, ‘New Sensation‘, ‘Devil Inside‘ – a previously thought ‘lost track ‘Lately from the album ‘X – and many more. Speaking about this show, INXS Garry Gary Beers remembers “The whole band was on fire that night but especially at our ‘pointy end – Michael was so good as he sang his heart out and gave every person in the crowd a night to remember for all time. He truly had that amazing ability to make the biggest shows as intimate as the pubs we grew up in musically”. Unlike the original Live Baby Live album (from 1991) which took its audio from various shows from that tour, this new release is the soundtrack to this one performance at Wembley, with the audio newly remixed by Giles Martin & Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios. Both vinyl and CD formats feature unseen imagery from the show, new essays from the band and sleeve notes by broadcaster and uber INXS fan Jamie East, who was in the crowd that day. These physical audio releases coincide with a new theatrical presentation of the original Live Baby Live concert film. The film has been restored from the original 35mm negative to Ultra HD 4K. I was lucky enough to get a preview of this earlier in the year and can confirm that its stunningly good. Theyve actually converted 4:3 to 16:9 with careful shot-by-shot reframing, for the full cinematic experience. The audio for the film will be in Dolby Atmos (again by Giles Martin and Sam Okell. 's editorial reviewer, Tom Keogh, felt "fans can rejoice over the release of this buoyant concert film. the late Michael Hutchence, is at his feral-romantic best, stalking and swiveling his way through an energized set of welterweight pop. 14] Australian country musician, Steve Forde, declared "I missed out on seeing Michael do his thing in person, but that Live Baby Live DVD is bad ass! We put that DVD on the big screen in the front lounge of the tour bus. It's like going to a 101 class to be a frontman rock star. Wembley Stadium chock full, singing every word. Awesome. Inxs baby live at wembley stadium. I remember when this song/video was new. I was a sophomore in high school. I got hooked on INXS when The One Thing came out, then the video for this song and I never looked back. This band was hot throughout the whole 80s up to about 1992 or so then they sort of lost favor with the radio and disappeared from the public but in about 1997 Eloquently Wasted came out and they had a concert I think from Denver that was shown on VH-1 and that was a comeback for them but sadly Michael died shortly thereafter and it was pretty much over. They got various singers such as Terrence Trent Darby but it wasn't the same and then finally about 2012 they called it a day, a permeant day. I love seeing Andrew Farris do his acoustic guitar version of this song on Australian TV that is shown on YouTube. It really is a great song and he really captures the feel and essence of the original studio recording but on acoustic. Miss this band but their music lives on.

On Saturday 13 July 1991 INXS delivered the gig of their lives at Londons Wembley Stadium to 74, 000 ecstatic fans. After a decade and a half on the road the group was at the peak of their live powers and the performance that day shows they were now indeed a world-class stadium band. As uDiscover Music previously reported, the film of Live Baby Live will also be in cinemas for the very first time. This masterclass in showmanship and musicianship has been painstakingly restored over a twelve-month period from the original 35mm negative to Ultra HD 4K. Now presented in cinematic 16:9 widescreen for this first ever Theatrical exhibition, the original film was presented in 4:3 aspect ratio, but the restored version was created by shot-by-shot repositioning to get the best out of the frame. To accompany the astonishing visual upgrade, the audio is now be presented in full Dolby Atmos, created by Giles Martin, the bands Executive Music Director, and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios. The concert film will be in cinemas in Australia and New Zealand from November 14, North and South America from 9 December, and in the UK on 27 November. Check the official website  for local listings. The bands long-time manager Chris M. Murphy had spent a decade scouring the world trying to locate the original 35mm film cans to produce this result. With the search becoming increasingly desperate and just when (almost) everyone had given up hope, the missing canisters were miraculously found in Australia. Murphy says “When youre working on a project for so long, theres the fear ‘Whats everyone going to think? That turns into astonishment. Watching it back Michael is better than even I thought he was – how he managed the stage. His voice became more powerful as the gig went along. It was extraordinary to watch – the crowd and band were as one”. INXS Tim Farriss “This was just one of many great shows I was lucky enough to play with my best friends and brothers”. Bassist Garry Gary Beers remembers “The whole band was on fire that night but especially at our ‘pointy end – Michael was so good as he sang his heart out and gave every person in the crowd a night to remember for all time.  He truly had that amazing ability to make the biggest shows as intimate as the pubs we grew up in musically”.
